The Grizzly Bear Paw is a realistic impression of the front paw of a Grizzly Bear. It is cast in 10kt yellow gold. The paw is then crusted with natural river nuggets from British Columbia and Yukon rivers. We buy the nuggets from independent miners. River nuggets average 22kt gold as there are naturally occurring impurities in unrefined nuggets. The Rocky Mountain Trench is home to the largest varity of big game species in North America and second only to Africa in variety. The Grizzly is master of this valley, the largest land based carnivore on the planet. They are revered in the region.

British Columbia's grizzly population is estimated between 6,000 and 12,000 bears. This is about 1/2 Canadas remaining population.
